Job Description:

Sentia is currently seeking an Account Executive who will report to the Vice President, Sales & Marketing. You will be responsible for creating and executing a sales & marketing plan to help achieve your targets. We are looking for someone who is proactive, hands-on, passionate, has a tremendous sense of urgency and demonstrates ownership of the entire sales process. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new and/or inheriting and growing existing Sentia accounts. You will provide ongoing support and serve as the single point of contact for our clients. A medium to strong understanding of today’s IT concepts, solutions and marketplace including product and service offerings is important. Experience having sold either or both professional services as well as managed services is a plus and a strategic focus for our business.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Confidently pursue achieving assigned sales quotas (GP, PS & MRR - Monthly Recurring Revenue)
  • Identify new prospects & customers and establish relationships by leveraging your natural sales talents (aka Hunt for new business)
  • Generate pipeline through executing a tactical and strategic sales and marketing plan
  • Become the trusted advisor to your customer base and successfully sell the value of Sentia
  • Understand thoroughly your customers IT & business priorities to then present IT solutions that will solve customer problems
  • Engage Sentia’s subject matter experts with your clients and prospects to understand customer IT and business challenges and propose Sentia solutions to resolve identified pains
  • Collaborate with vendor partners, Sentia technical, managerial and marketing teams to get off to a fast start
  • Responsible for building relationships at all customer levels
  • Manage sales cycle from contact to close
  • Play an active role in Sentia’s marketing process and initiatives
  • Leverage Sentia’s marketing and sales tools, including ZoomInfo, and HubSpot

IT Solution Selling Experience (experience selling in at least three of these areas is required in order to be considered for this role)

  • Server Sales – HPE, Dell, Lenovo and IBM
  • Storage Sales – IBM, Lenovo, Dell/EMC etc...
  • Network Sales – Fortinet, Cisco etc…
  • Client Device Sales – Lenovo, HPI, Dell
  • Security Software Sales
  • Virtualization Solutions
  • Modern Data Protection Solutions – Cohesity, Veeam, Rubrik etc…
  • Backup/Recovery & Disaster Recovery
  • Business Continuity & Recovery Services
  • Managed Services
  • Cloud Services including Microsoft, AWS, Google & IBM Cloud
  • Professional Services including Assessments, Architecture & Design, Implementation & Support

Qualifications:

  • College or University Degree in business, computer science or related program
  • 5 - 8 years of experience in IT sales
  • Experience selling managed and professional services is considered asset
  • Experience selling Microsoft products and solutions is considered an asset
  • Previous achievement in attaining and exceeding quotas is considered an asset
