Job Description:

Sentia is currently seeking a Pre-Sales Solutions Architect. Working with the account executives, business development, operations specialist, and project management, they will provide the pre-sales coverage throughout the cycle.  The position requires strong technical foundation combined with excellent analytical, presentation and pre-sales skills. 

In the team of Network Operations Center of Network Specialists, Support Services Technicians and Technical Specialists, Manager Support Services you will identify gaps in the customer requirements and execute on the recommendations made by Sentia. You will collaborate with highly innovative teams to put designs and solutions into use by our customers of small to large enterprise applications. You will have direct day-to-day contact with the Account Managers and engagement with customers. 

We are looking for someone who is hands-on, passionate, demonstrates ownership and is excited about troubleshooting and architecting designs for our clients.  You are up to date with the latest technological trends and updates. You’ll have the trust and responsibility of our team as our Network Operations Center will rely heavily on your build.  If this challenge excites you, let us know!

Core Responsibilities:

  • Engage with the sales team and customers to determine requirements and develop solutions that meet business requirements, maximizes value for the customer and leverages respective vendor programs
  • Have experience in presenting the value proposition of Sentia’s products to C-level and have the ability to articulate the technical benefits of Sentia’s IT portfolio products, solutions, and services to all levels in customer’s organization
  • Attend sales meetings and presentations, presenting products for the sales teams to understand the customers’ unique details and provide support
  • Liaison between customers’ technical team and Sentia’s internal teams to ensure deployments go as planned
  • Align closely with the sales team to own pre-sales activities such as pitching, scoping, SOW development and closing delivery service opportunities
  • Track orders for solutions while maintaining serial and contract database
  • Diagnosing errors or technical problems and determining proper solutions, report on any manufacturing issues
  • Responsible for helping generate software and services revenue while meeting assigned targets for sales growth in assigned product lines, market areas, channel, or teams supported

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 5+ years pre-sales experience in a related field
  • Established relationships with distributors, and hardware and software vendors
  • Experience in at least one vendor configuration tool:
    • Lenovo DSCS
    • HPE OCA
    • Dell Solutions Configurator
    • Azure Pricing Calculator
  • Strong Microsoft Excel Skills required (Pivot Tables, vLookup)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and solve customer problems
