Job Description

Sentia is currently seeking a Senior Account Executive who will report to the Vice President, Sales & Marketing. You will be responsible for creating and executing a sales & marketing plan to help achieve your targets. A strong understanding of today’s IT concepts, solutions and marketplace including product and service offerings is important. Experience having sold both professional services as well as managed services is a mandatory sales competency and requirement to be successful in this role.

We are looking for someone who is proactive, hands-on, passionate, has a tremendous sense of urgency and demonstrates ownership of the entire sales process. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new and inheriting and growing existing Sentia accounts. You will provide ongoing support and serve as the single point of contact for our clients. You will have a thorough understanding of all Sentia products and offerings and actively seek to add new clients while expanding and growing existing clients’ share of wallet.


Core Responsibilities

  • Confidently pursue achieving assigned sales quotas (GP, PS & MRR - Monthly Recurring Revenue).
  • Identify, engage and develop new prospects & customers, establishing relationships by leveraging your
  • natural sales talents
  • Generate pipeline through executing a tactical and strategic sales and marketing plan
  • Become the trusted advisor to your customer base and successfully sell the value of Sentia
  • Understand thoroughly your customers’ IT & business priorities to then present IT solutions that will
  • solve customer problems
  • Engage Sentia’s subject matter experts with your clients and prospects to understand customer IT and
  • business challenges and propose Sentia solutions to resolve identified pains
  • Responsible for building relationships at all customer levels
  • Effectively manage sales cycle from contact to close

Qualifications and Experience

  • 10+ years of outbound sales and/or business development experience in the information technology
  • industry
  • Experience selling IT Solutions, managed and professional services. Experience selling Microsoft
  • solutions is considered an asset
  • Experience using CRM, Sales Navigator, and other sales or prospecting tools
  • Post secondary education (diploma/degree) from an accredited institution in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales Management, Communications, Information Technology (IT), or related.

This role is open due to an existing vacancy, and we are seeking qualified applicants. The budgeted annual salary range for this role is $80,000 – $110,000 CAD. Starting salary is determined by the candidate's relevant experience and skills. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for Sentia's full benefits package and commission program.
