Job Description

 

Sentia is currently seeking a Technical Specialist who would be responsible for implementation or remote support for the following solutions.

 
  • Exchange, SharePoint Active Directory, SQL
  • VMware, VMware View, Hyper-V
  • Server and Storage Infrastructure
 

Qualifications:

 
  • 5+ Yrs experience implementing and managing solutions around Microsoft products (Active Directory, Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, etc…)
  • Experience in administering virtualization platforms (VMware, VMware View Hyper-V, Xen, etc…)
  • Familiarity with deploying and troubleshooting Windows desktop and server operating systems
  • Networking skills including Ethernet switching and TCP/IP suite
  • Excellent communication skills and customer-oriented approach
  • Ability to work independently at customer sites and remote offices
  • Ability to assist in Level 1 and 2 support issues with managed customers
  • Willingness to travel within the GTA, Canada, and abroad
  • Willingness to work after regular business hours and weekends
 

 Additional Beneficial Skills:

 
  • Experience with SAN, NAS, DAS
  • Experience with iSCSI and Fiberchannel (FC) protocol
  • Experience with SAN fabric switches (Brocade, Qlogic)
  • Experience with x86 Servers
  • Experience with Linux operating system and distributions
  • Ability and willingness to learn new technology
